1940s Pure Silk Powder Blue Blouse

This is a 1940’s -1950’s pure silk blouse with very delicate details and quality.

The sleeve cuffs and collar have linear repeated stitch lines to provide the most elegant design details without over powering the gentleness of the fabric and colour.

There are some small stains to the front as detailed in the photos, please pay close attention to these. There are also some under arm staining, as occurs in a lot of vintage clothing. It is difficult to photograph, so isn’t very obvious when worn either.

shoulders: 16”/40.5cms

bust: 19.5”/49.5cms

waist: 20”/51cms

length: 21.5”/54.5cms

sleeve length: 7.5”/19cms
