Vintage Baby Silky Pram Coat with Smocked Chest

This is a very sweet true vintage baby garment, known as a pram coat. It’s made of a very silky material, with a very slight sheen to it

It has a lovely little collar and is edged with a very delicate lace. The front panels are smocked both sides, using pink, blue, yellow and white silk threads.

The fastening makes for very easy dressing of wriggly babies, with two simple ribbon ties at the front.

Approximate measurements when laid flat are:

Shoulders: 27cms/10.5”

Chest: 33cms/13”

Length: 31cms/12”

There are three very small stains to the back, as shown in the photos
